April was a great month this year, but I am biased because April is my birthday month! I turned 21 on the 13th and it opened a lot of doors for me in regard to things to do for fun! My April favorites are detailed below, and these items are some of my most used this month and are things I recommend. My size dimensions are as follows: 5'4, 130lbs and I tend to wear a size small/medium in tops and a size medium/6 in bottoms.
1. My first favorite was something I have been wanting for a while. I love Tiffany & Co, but I have some problems with the brand. I am a gold jewelry wearer, and they are generally known for silver jewelry. Secondly, I do not like the price tag as a college student trying to save money. With that being said, I think the brand is super timeless and I love the way their jewelry compliments every outfit. Specifically, their "Return to Tiffany" heart pendant necklace is my favorite, and I had been wanting the gold and baby pink version. I tried one from Etsy, and unsurprisingly, it was awesome and very well priced. I wear this necklace practically every day and it has held up great. I do not suggest swimming or showering with this necklace on though. It is identical to the original necklace and is a great dupe. It comes in many colors such as blue and green. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1219824598/double-heart-stainless-steel-pendant?transaction_id=3483444892/

2. The next thing on my list is very basic but they are basic and sold out for a good reason. The Tasman slippers are a great win for Ugg. I think they are so cute, comfortable, and easily wearable. These retail for $100 on Ugg's website but just like other products from this brand, they are very much worth it. Speaking on the brand in general, their products hold up very well. I still have my Ugg midi boots from middle school (9 years ago) and they are still totally wearable and comfortable. I bought a size 8 and they are very true to size despite hearing that I needed to size up. These can be worn as slippers around the house or can be worn as legitimate shoes. They have been super popular for wearing out especially this past Winter. I love how comfortable they are, and how I can just slide them on when I need shoes in a hurry. They are in my April favorites because I finally got my hands on them for my birthday and have been enjoying them in the month of April. They will definitely be a staple of my Winter collection. I opted for the color chestnut, which is a great neutral, my next variation will hopefully be their Tasman Regenerate which is a sand beige with light blue braided trim. Hopefully those will come back in stock soon!

3. This item is something that I had high hopes for. This is a matching PJ set from Esty. When I added it to my birthday gift collection, I was under the impression that this set was more of a cotton material similar to that of Brandy Melville given the photo on the Etsy ad. To my surprise, it was not made of this material when I opened it. With that being said though, I still loved it. The material is more elastic than I expected. Unfortunately, this set is no longer available on Esty, but I still wanted to include a photo of it because it is one of my favorites. I will update this post if it becomes available again. This set was a birthday gift from my boyfriend, and I highly recommend a gift like this for a sister, girlfriend, mom, or another woman in your life!

4. This next item is another PJ set that I just adore. I got this set for Christmas, and I have been wearing it ever since. I have only recently gotten into PJ sets, so I do not have a lot in my wardrobe quite yet, but this is a staple. This is from Target's "Stars Above" collection. The material is a combination of modal and spandex and is the most comfortable set I own. It is very true to size, and I bought the size medium. I have the black set, but it comes in 8 colors including patterns. This set is a great price for the quality, and this spin off brand from target makes the comfiest lounge wear I own. I highly recommend this set and basically anything from Target's "Stars Above" collection.

5. The next thing on my list I purchased last week, and I loved right away. In my opinion, I think H&M is extremely hit or miss. For me personally, the one closest to my house in Wilmington normally either has a bunch of great stuff or nothing. I think it just depends on when you go and when they restock for different seasons. I went last week with low expectations thinking I would not find anything, but I was wrong. They had just recently stocked for summer it seemed, so they had lots of new summer clothing. I bought a few things I liked but the item making it onto this list is their basic baby tees. I personally bought a size small, and they fit more on the snug side but that is what I like for my cropped tees. The cropping is not too short, it is cropped just above my bellybutton, and offers good coverage while still being stylish. Online they are only advertising them as bundles but you can buy them individually in store. I bought the dark grey as well as the lighter grey and loved them both. They are so soft, good material, and not too see through. I have also found that they wash pretty well.

6. The next item is another thing I purchased super recently and I can add to my basics collection. If you know me, you know that I love a few basic, neutral staples for my wardrobe each season that I can style in many ways. This is one of those pieces for this spring and upcoming summer. This is a basic heather gray crewneck from Old Navy. It is a light coverage crew, so it is great for summer evenings after a long day at the beach. I love the timeless style and how comfortable the material is for being so light. It is a combination of polyester and cotton, and I opted for a size medium. It is very true to size if you are looking for a slightly oversized look. If you like your crewnecks on the tighter side I would suggest sizing down, and the opposite, if you like your crewnecks very oversized, I suggest sizing up. This comes in three different colors, and all have that washed look that I like.

7. Another product I want to showcase is one I have mentioned on here previously, but I just love it that much to be mentioning it in my amazon link page as well as my favorites page. That is the Kristen Ess "The One" purple shampoo and conditioner set. I cannot express enough how much I love this product. It is an amazing drug store find that keeps my hair icy and cool toned even living in Wilmington. I have a lot of issues with dullness and brassiness because of the hard water in my area, but you would never know when I use this product. I saw noticeable improvement in my hair after literally 1 wash. I use this product about once to twice a week with wash breaks in between. I warn you not to use this product every day because it is that good and your blonde will turn to silver. This product normally lasts me about 2 months with this wash schedule, maybe longer.

8. Next, I want to highlight something a little different. I don't know about y'all, but I love having my nails done. I was a habitual acrylic nails wearer for years and loved how it looked and how it made me feel. During the pandemic, I learned to do my own dip, acrylic, and gel nails. I am always looking for the next best thing when it comes to products to make my nails look their best and I have found the next best thing. OPI has come out with their own line of press on nails, and they are amazing. They come in many different shapes and lengths, but I tend to stick with the short almond ones. They come in many beloved OPI colors, and the kit comes with 30 press on nails, nail glue, a cuticle stick, a dual nail file/buffer, and what they call an "OPI prep pad," which is essentially an alcohol nail dehydrator. These are only sold at Ulta Beauty, and they are priced at $13.99. The quality and the wear on these are amazing and well worth the price. I have used them on multiple occasions, and they lasted over 2 weeks, which is longer than some of the professionally done acrylics I have had.

9. My next item comes from Hues of Violet boutique which is where I work! I will be doing a separate piece about the company and my favorite pieces, so I can really highlight my favorite things about my job and what the company has to offer. With that being said, I continue time and time again to gravitate toward purchasing Vervet Denim. This company is an affiliate company of Flying Tomato (a boutique wholesale brand), and makes the best jeans I have ever owned. I have so many varieties and styles of Vervet jeans and they never disappoint. They are stretchy and have a super comfortable feel and fit. I tend to have a difficult time finding jeans that fit me correctly and comfortably. Either jeans fit my waist, or they fit my legs and backside, it is never both. Vervet jeans though are the exception to this. Not only do they fit amazing in all the right areas, but they are the most comfortable jeans I own. I am not exaggerating here when I say wearing a pair of Vervet jeans is like wearing buttery soft joggers. I own a pair of the loose fit 90's jeans, as well as the mom shorts, and the straight leg styles. They are also very true to size, and I opt for a size 28. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about these jeans.

10. The final product on my April favorites is my Kendra Scott gold and diamond huggie hoop earrings. These were another gift from my boyfriend and are a piece of jewelry I wear almost every day. These earrings are super cute and can be dressed up or down depending on the outfit. I love the yellow gold look as it pairs well with my other pieces from here. Kendra Scott is a huge go to for me when it comes to jewelry because their yellow gold is so iconic and flattering on my skin tone.
